Bio-Link provides filtration systems and drinking water solutions for restaurants, cha chaan tengs, cafés, central kitchens and food & beverage operators in Hong Kong, configuring equipment around flow rate, cooking applications, coffee or tea requirements, water quality needs and maintenance arrangements. From model selection and installation to regular cartridge replacement and maintenance, we follow through at every stage, and can schedule on-site visits around the works and hygiene requirements of food & beverage premises.
In food & beverage settings, water affects not only the taste of drinking water but also coffee, tea, ice, cooking and equipment maintenance. Frequently asked questions
Start by assessing the intended use, daily volume, catering equipment, water source location and water quality requirements. Coffee, tea, ice and cooking have different water quality requirements, so the suitable cartridge configuration differs as well.
Yes. Consistent, suitable water quality improves the taste of coffee, tea and ice, and helps reduce the effect of scale on equipment.
Capacity and dispensing points are configured according to peak service hours and daily consumption; hot water boilers and filtration systems can be used together to keep supply uninterrupted during busy periods.
Food & beverage sites use more water, so replacement cycles are shorter. Under a maintenance plan we record the cycle based on usage, contact you when it falls due, and can arrange on-site replacement outside peak hours.
Works can be scheduled outside trading hours or on closing days. Installation is normally completed within seven working days of order confirmation and payment; if an item is out of stock, we advise the expected arrival time when the order is placed.
Rental covers the unit, installation, maintenance and cartridge replacement for a fixed monthly fee, which suits food & beverage settings where equipment is replaced more often; purchase is a one-off investment with a lower cost spread over long-term use. Assess according to your operating budget.
